Instead of copying the rough off-shutter concrete of the original consulting suite, the new bunker was designed as a clear contemporary addition. Smooth blue steel cladding, black horizontal bands, recessed vertical joints and chamfered corners reduce its visual mass. The reflective surface also captures changing light, trees and surrounding buildings.
